For those lost souls out there wandering the Internet without a CDM BBS.

Nicely done Ride. My initial hope was that there might be a merger with a big boy to help promote, but I fear they may fold up tent. Feels like I just went back in time 5 years.....

Ride, thanks for the thread. I'm worried about football payouts - think they would actually not pay out? (It's not the craziest thing to worry about)

Think it's legal protection over DFS and what's happening in New York? Or just a case of losing people and it no longer being financially viable? I know that it's probably challenging to be fully transparent under the circumstances, but I wish we knew. If we knew that at least baseball would go on, that would be one thing - I mean the salaries were only released a little under two weeks ago. Once that BBS for baseball went quiet, that felt suspiciously like a death knell. I hope not.

My hope is they are partnering up with a big boy for advertising and bringing the game back to the numbers of yesteryear, but that's about a 1% shot. The other 99% is not goot. Either way they probably aren't at liberty to be fully forthcoming with the status.

Well I sucked (again) this year so I don't have to worry about a payout, but I am interested in knowing what's going on. Been playing CDM since the mid-90's. Would be sad if they folded.
Anyone else have Charlie Wiegand as a connection on LinkedIn? I was thinking about hitting him up there, but I have a feeling I won't get a response.

I just checked PACER and the Missouri Security of State's websites. RG Ventures, LLC (CDM) has not filed for bankruptcy or filed anything with the MO SOS as of today.

I called CDM and talked to someone. I was told the home page should be up and running in a week or two and I asked about the BBS and I was told they were working on it. Fantrax sent out an email about two weeks ago introducing fantrax 2.0 maybe CDM is looking to up date too. Does not make sense to put out salaries then not have a game.

Might have put out salaries before a decision was made. And hard to tell who knows what over there. But maybe I'm just skeptical.

Why not tell your customers you are updating your site?

Sure hope that CDM survives, but at the very least we should try and get people to play at Fantrax as well. The more competition the better for the consumers.

RTL, Thanks for setting up this site. Really don't like the ominous message about the playoff football games, as there was no mention of future baseball games, and the locking of the baseball board is not a good sign. Goh, any word as to whether Fantrax is going to offer baseball contests other than bronze points?
